Job Overview



  • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to join their team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping, maintaining accurate sales records, handling procurement, and performing various accounting duties to support our business operations.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Maintain and update financial records, including daily transactions, receipts, and payments.

  • Accurately record and track sales transactions, prepare sales reports, and ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments.

  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and maintaining inventory records.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced.

  • Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are recorded and authorized.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against the budget.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.


Key Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
