Reporting line: Supervisor

HVAC / Cooling Technician is charged with the responsibilities of Equipment maintenance, locating and diagnosing problems on equipment, HVAC installations and conducting warranty services and swift performance of emergency repairs on certain equipment units.

The position holder must have atleast a Trade Test 1 (Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity) qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.


• Conducting monthly and annual routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.


• Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and heating pumps.


•  Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.


• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.


• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services


• Collaborating with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction.


• Adhering to safety procedures and guidelines while on job sites.


• Timely completion of work orders and signing completion job form.


• Responding to emergency calls promptly and providing routine maintenance to help fix the HVAC system quickly for customers.


• Daily report of activities to be sent to supervisor


• And executing of all other task assigned by line manager.

 Qualifications:

Minimum Professional qualification

• Trade Test 1 (Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity).

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• OND/ HND

Minimum Work Experience level:

• Minimum of 2 years’ field experience.


• HVAC knowledge and Technical Skill


• Strong analytical and communication skills as well as attention to detail, are essential.

Salary range: #90,000 - #120,000
