Job Summary



  • The Angular TypeScript Frontend Engineer with a keen eye for design and a passion will be responsible for creating seamless user experiences. You will develop high-performing web applications using Angular and TypeScript and have experience with Tailwind CSS for styling and Jest for testing. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional.


Responsibilities

A typical day on the job will involve;



  • Design and develop user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, focusing on performance and reusable, scalable code.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement modern design into functional web applications.

  • Ensure applications are responsive, with a mobile-first approach when applicable.

  • Integrate front-end features with RESTful APIs and other backend services.

  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Write unit and integration tests using the Jest framework to ensure the reliability and robustness of the application.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern web technologies and programming practices to improve application quality and the development process.


Requirements



  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your Angular, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design expertise.

  • Proficiency in Angular and a profound understanding of its core principles, including modules, components, and services.

  • Solid understanding of TypeScript.

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, able to leverage its utility-first capabilities to prototype and build custom designs rapidly.

  • Familiar with testing frameworks, specifically Jest, and passionate about writing well-tested code.

  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

  • Knowledge of front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Angular CLI, Webpack, npm).

  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic and agile team environment.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with design teams, developers, and other stakeholders.
