Job Description:

• As a Sonographer at Afrilab Medical Diagnostics, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.


• You will work closely with our medical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.


• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety during exams.


• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images and provide accurate reports to physicians.


• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.


• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.


• Proficiency in performing various types of ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular, etc.).


• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to patient care and professional development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced ultrasound techniques.


• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.


• Continuing education in the field of sonography.
