Overview of this role:
Successful candidate will be responsible for actively seeking out and engaging customer prospects to sell freight forwarding and logistics services. The role includes revenue generation, securing profitable business deals, and managing key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the logistics and freight industry and be able to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry for 3-5 years.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to close sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Experience in managing multiple accounts effectively.
- Must be resultsdriven and have a consistent track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Minimum of ND in Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
