Job Summary



  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Operations Officer to join our team in Calabar and Enugu. 

  • This role requires a strong understanding of solar PV systems, energy storage systems, and related technologies.


Key Responsibilities

System Management:



  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems and energy storage systems.

  • Utilize remote monitoring systems and data analysis tools to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.


Technical Support:



  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams regarding solar PV systems and related technologies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and documentation.


Project Coordination:



  • Assist in the planning and execution of solar energy projects.

  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.

  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.


Problem Solving and Analysis:



  • Analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

  • Address technical challenges and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


Communication and Collaboration:



  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


Travel: Willingness to travel to various project sites and client locations as needed.


Requirements

Education:



  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.

  • HND holders are encouraged to apply.


Skills and Competencies:



  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, energy storage systems, and related technologies.

  • Experience with remote monitoring systems and data analysis tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel.
