Job Summary

• We are looking for a motivated and passionate Project Engineering Intern to join our team in Abuja.


• This role is ideal for NYSC corps members with a strong interest in solar energy and renewable energy technologies.


• The intern will assist in the design and development of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and mounting structures.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development:

• Assist in the design and development of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and mounting structures.


• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best design solutions.


• Prepare technical drawings and specifications using engineering software and tools.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to project teams during the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems.


• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar energy systems.


• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Project Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of solar energy projects.


• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.


• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.

Problem Solving and Analysis:

• Analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


• Develop and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.


• Address technical challenges and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.


• Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.


• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Travel:

• Willingness to travel to various project sites and client locations as needed.

Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.


• HND holders are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong interest in solar energy and renewable energy technologies.


• Basic understanding of electrical systems, power generation, and energy storage.


• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.


• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
