Job Description
Responsibilities:
Market research
- Researching market activity and trends to identify new opportunities and ways to improve the business's role in existing markets
Relationship building
- Establishing and maintaining connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders, and using metrics like customer happiness and referral rates to evaluate the status of these connections
Sales
- Creating sales pitches, comparing current sales numbers to quotas, and meeting with upper management to discuss progress
Client retention
- Finding and retaining clients, encouraging existing clients to purchase additional products or features, and staying up to date with consumption changes
Contracts
- Working with potential clients to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
Business solutions
- Developing business solutions and new sales ideas, such as account strategy plans and bid solution development
Reporting
- Providing weekly and monthly reports to senior management and monthly sales forecasts to business units
Requirements:
Communication
- You should have strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with clients and develop solutions to their needs.
Project management
- You need to be able to manage the project planning process.
Business intelligence
- You need to be able to analyze data about the company's performance, competitors, and service offerings to develop strategies for revenue growth.
Client relationships
- You need to be able to establish and maintain sustainable relationships with clients to ensure business growth.
Negotiation
- You need to be persuasive and have good negotiation skills, especially when managing a large team.
Organizational skills
- You need to be self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and manage their time with minimal supervision.
