Responsibilities

• You should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously


• Work closely with product managers to define requirements and develop detailed test plans and test scenarios (both positive and negative path scenarios).


• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases


• Execute automated testing where applicable.


• Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality


• Detecting and Logging defects, bugs, wrong outcomes when a product does not perform within specifications as defined in the user story while also recommending solutions and improvements.


• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts


• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to the benefit of the products.

Competencies:

• Have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes


• Proven work experience in software testing


• Good knowledge of any testing tools (Postman, Selenium, Cucumber…)


• Have solid knowledge of SQL and scripting (performance and/or security testing is a plus)


• Experience with test management tools (Jira and the likes)


• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.


• Pays meticulous attention to detail.

• Good time commitment/management skills


• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
