Key Responsibilities:



  • Fundraising and Sponsorship Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet revenue targets.

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, donations, and partnerships.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, sponsors, and partners.

  • Prepare and present proposals and pitches to potential sponsors and donors.

  • Event Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, including but not limited to galas, auctions, conferences, and community outreach events.

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and volunteer management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.

  • Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote fundraising events and initiatives.

  • Create promotional materials, including brochures, invitations, social media content, and press releases.

  • Manage event-related communications, including media relations and public speaking engagements.

  • Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of fundraising activities.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, or a related role.

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and sponsorship acquisition.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software (e.g., CRM systems).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Passion for the mission of supporting women entrepreneurs.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment.

  • Established network of contacts in the corporate and philanthropic sectors.

  • Experience with digital fundraising and online event platforms.
