Job Description
Objective / Purpose
- The job role requires a high proficiency level in financial modelling, financial analysis, risk management and credit assessment.
- The job holder will be required to lead investment processes, conduct in-depth analysis of proposed housing finance transactions and provide investment recommendations to the credit committee.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on housing finance partnership, economic trends, and industry players to identify potential housing investment opportunities for the organization.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, which may involve reviewing financial statements, legal documents, contracts, and other relevant submissions.
- Receive review and respond to credit/loan requests from interested applicants (state government, private sector, agencies or corporative).
- Ensure continuous engagement with investment partners to ensure closure and loan disbursement.
- Carry out profitability, cost and benefit analysis on credit/investment proposal before submitting to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the organizational investment strategy, asset allocation, and investment policies.
- Provide investment recommendations and reports to senior management or CreditCommittee.
- Ensure that all investment activities adhere to relevant regulations, legal and risk requirements, and other internal compliance policies.
- Evaluate and analyze alternative investment opportunities, such as private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and real assets.
- Effectively communicate complex financial concepts and analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with the project management department to embark on technical due diligence on prospective projects.
- Responsible for keeping confidential records for every transaction in a safe and easily retrievable manner.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, QS, Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Applicants most belong to a minimum of 2 professional bodies.
- 9 - 12 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, 4 Years must be in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from financial data and make informed investment decisions
