Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Chief Security Officer to join our team.


• The job holder's responsibilities will primarily be centered on providing stakeholders and staff with a comfortable sense of security by guaranteeing the safety of the business's human and non-human assets.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree


• Formal security qualification or advanced security management training is essential


• Former member of Nigerian Police (Not less than Inspector cadre at time of retirement) and network access to relevant security groups and agencies


• Minimum of 10 years post qualification working experience in a similar role, 5 years of which must be at a senior level.


• Experience Length: 15 years


• Experience in incident reporting, incident mapping, intelligence collation, analysis, and security assessments and reporting, liaising with established security agencies such as the Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defense Corps, etc.


• Security professional with proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector, and armed forces


• Creative with strong execution and negotiation skills.


• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint), and virtual meeting tools


• Ability to present data given insights to guide decision making


• Excellent organization, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.


• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
