The Occupational Health Officer will be responsible for implementing health and safety programs, conducting health assessments, and providing medical advice to promote a healthy and safe working environment.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for occupational health.
Responsibilities
Conduct health assessments and provide medical advice to employees.
Implement and monitor health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Provide first aid and emergency medical care when necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement workplace health policies.
Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
Promote health and wellness initiatives within the organization.
Stay updated with the latest developments in occupational health and safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Anatomy or Physiology (or a related field).
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Health or any healthcare-related field.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (not mandatory).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and electronic medical records.
