Invent Alliance Limited is currently recruiting to fill the role of Procurement Officer, the person will be expected to attend to the following job role;



  • Procurement Planning: Developing procurement strategies that are cost-effective and align with the organization's goals and needs.

  • Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining good relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Purchase Order Processing: Creating and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to budgetary constraints and company policies.

  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring stock availability while minimizing excess inventory to reduce costs.

  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Assessing supplier capabilities, conducting audits when necessary, and making recommendations for supplier selection based on quality, cost, and delivery.

  • Contract Management: Managing contracts and agreements with suppliers, including terms and conditions negotiation, renewal, and compliance monitoring.

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitoring expenditures against budget and finding opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or service levels.

  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing strategies to mitigate them, such as developing alternative sourcing options.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participating in or leading initiatives to improve procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the organization.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to coordinate procurement activities and meet organizational objectives.

  • Market Research: Keeping abreast of market trends, new products, and emerging technologies relevant to the organization's procurement needs.


The preferred candidate must reside along the Lekki-Ajah axis.
