Job Description
As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will focus on growing and developing existing clients, generating new business by identifying, implementing, and executing new strategies. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in key account management and be adept at using data-driven insights to drive sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads into customers.
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue and drive growth.
- Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for account expansion, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Understand Customers’ business objectives and communicate their requirements with internal teams, including Hub operations and Issue Resolution; to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment is complete
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs the company sets through effective account management and sales strategies.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to Management.
Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in preferably in Business Administration, Marketing and other related fields. An MBA will be of added advantage.
- Demonstrable work experience in sales, with a focus on key account management or relationship management. Previous experience in FMCG, logistics or general supply chain is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and drive sales conversations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent leadership skill with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to extract insights from operational and performance data.
- Ability to take ownership and be methodological.
