Location: Magodo, Lagos

We are currently looking for a residential chef/cook who will also handle basic housekeeping chores.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly meal time table for the family


• Experience with preparing local dishes and some continental meals


• Plan and prepare healthy and balanced meals that are delicious with good presentation.


• Shop for groceries and kitchen supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is always well stocked with fresh and high-quality ingredients.


• Manage the kitchen’s day-to-day operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.


• Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time and that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.


• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.


• Help with house chores like cleaning, dusting, running errands, stock taking, etc.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in culinary arts, catering or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience working as a residential chef, preferably in a private household.


• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.


• Hardworking and love to help with house chores


• Excellent cooking skills and a passion for creating healthy, balanced, and innovative meals.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently.


• Must be trustworthy, friendly, and creative.

Salary

• N150,000 / month (slightly negotiable)
