The Brands and Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance the bank's brand presence, attract new customers, and retain existing ones.
This role involves managing various marketing campaigns, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring that the bank's brand message is consistently communicated across all channels.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns to promote the bank's products and services.
Implement marketing strategies needed to optimally reach the company’s target audience through diverse channels and spur high levels of revenue generation.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and achieve marketing objectives.
Ensure the company brand is optimally placed and projected by monitoring industry marketing trends, the performance of marketing and campaigns, and providing performance reports
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
Coordinate team members across the different job functions to ensure optimal performance on different marketing, branding, marketing operations and communications functions as assigned
Continuously plan and execute brand engagement activities/events across various media (digital, physical etc.) to ensure visibility and brand awareness across our various locations
Coordinate partnerships with external consultants and vendors as required to achieve goals within budgets
Develop communication models and structure, and manage product launch messaging and market expansion narratives.
Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and present findings to senior management.
Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.
Translate brand/products elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.
Research and determine product weaknesses and areas to be modified.
Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation and consumer insight development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media/Advertising, Communication or related field.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in branding, corporate communications, advertising, marketing or media buying in a commercial bank or finance company.
Proven experience in managing a brand (Knowledge in the financial sector is highly desired)
Must have solid understanding of consumer insights and needs
Proven experience in managing brands (Knowledge in the banking sector would be an added advantage).
