Job Summary

• The Safety and Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety and security programs to protect our personnel, assets, and facilities.


• This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety and security policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.


• Monitor and supervise security personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Implement emergency response plans and conduct training sessions for staff on safety and security protocols.


• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.


• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and security-related activities.


• Stay updated with the latest safety and security trends and technologies to enhance the security framework.

Qualifications

• HSE, Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, security protocols, and emergency response procedures.


• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.


• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and any relevant security certifications is an advantage.
