Job Overview:


The Sales Engineer for compressors products will be stationed in Lagos office in Nigeria. Will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, developing end users and distributors, closing sales transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves overseeing the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth. The candidate must have extensive experience in the compressor market, with a deep understanding of its technical applications and market dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Responsible for developing customers and closing sales transaction on compressor in Nigeria.

  2. Responsible for following up, facilitating and expediting all process of the business transaction, including but not limited to regular visiting prospective and existing clients to maintain relationship, clarify enquiry/concerns, negotiate business terms, close transactions, and follow up on outstanding payments.

  3. Facilitating importation process by applying for Form M, L/C, and custom clearance.

  4. Responsible for communication and coordination on all pre-sales and after-sales related matters.

  5. Responsible for the new products and new business opportunities’ analysis, development and risk control in Nigeria.

  6. Collect information of competitors and competitor’s products.

  7. Analyze new clients and risk levels.

  8. Payment collection from the clients before/after the delivery (based on the transaction).

  9. Develop, expand and support local sales channels, such as dealers and / or agents.

  10. Maintain and expand relationship with local authorities.

  11. Other tasks and support from head office under Beijing office’s directions. 


Requirements:



  1. 5 years or more of experience in the relevant field.

  2. A deep understanding and technical knowledge of compressors and their applications.

  3. Preference given to candidates with downstream customer resources.

  4.  Strong understanding of the compressor market and industry, including technological trends and market dynamics.

  5. Capability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights.

  6. Able to develop and implement sales plans to achieve company sales goals

  7. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
