Job Overview:
The Sales representative for all transport-related products in Nigeria plays a crucial role in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and exploring new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience and a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to effectively manage the sales process from start to finish.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for developing customers and closing sales transaction on transport related products -vehicles, parts (including tire, battery, filters and other parts), machineries, in Nigeria.
- Responsible for facilitating and expediting all process of the business transaction, including (not limited) regular visiting existing clients to maintain relationship, clarify enquiry/concern, negotiate business terms, Signed PO/agreement, Form M, L/C, outstanding payment.
- Responsible for communication and coordination on all pre-sales and after-sales related matters.
- Responsible for the new products and new business opportunities’ analysis, development and risk control in Nigeria.
- Collect information of competitors and competitor’s products.
- Analyze new client and risk levels.
- Collect payment from the clients before/after the delivery (based on the transaction).
- Develop, expand and support local sales channels, such as dealers and / or agents.
- Maintain and expand relationship with local authorities.
- Other tasks and support from head office under Beijing office’s directions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a team leader with 5 years or more of experience in the relevant field.
- Preference given to candidates with downstream customer resources.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Capability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights.
- Able to develop and implement sales plans to achieve company sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
