HND / B.Sc. in Food Technology or equivalent; additional technical certification is a plus.
Background in food technology, preferably with a relevant technical qualification.
Proven experience in poultry Processing.
Knowledge of chicken processing machinery and equipment.
5 - 10 years previous experience in chicken processing and technology-related roles.
Food safety certification
Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a processing manager
Not more than 40 years old
Able to achieve production targets within set timeframe
Proven experience in preparing and presenting period review and ensure compliance with all internal and external production regulations and legislation
Monitor adherence to health/safety procedures and guidelines and put corrective action as needed
Ability to apply effective cost management practices
Proven experience in coordinating activities of workers engaged in slaughtering, dressing and packing poultry.
Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control.
Ability to record and report on production activities
Ability to implement standard operating procedures.
