Key Responsibilities
Photography:
- Capture professional-quality photographs for various purposes, including portraits, events, products, landscapes, and promotional materials.
- Utilize different photography techniques and styles to meet client or project requirements.
- Ensure proper lighting, composition, and focus in all photographs.
Pre-Production
- Consult with clients to understand their photography needs and preferences.
- Scout and select appropriate locations for photo shoots.
- Plan and prepare for photo sessions, including setting up equipment and arranging props.
Post-Production:
- Edit and retouch photographs using photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Manage and organize digital files for easy retrieval and storage.
- Ensure final images are delivered in the required format and resolution.
Technical Expertise:
- Operate and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
- Stay updated on the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to camera equipment and software.
Creative Input:
- Bring creative ideas and concepts to enhance photo shoots.
- Experiment with different photography techniques, angles, and lighting setups.
- Collaborate with clients and creative teams to achieve the desired visual style.
Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Provide guidance and suggestions to clients during photo shoots.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality images on time.
Marketing and Business Development:
- Build and maintain a portfolio of work to showcase photography skills and style.
- Promote photography services through various channels, including social media, websites, and networking events.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and contract management.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in professional photography or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing previous photography work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Photographer or similar role.
- Proficiency in using photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting.
- Strong understanding of photography techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
