Job Description

Our client (a Microfinance Bank) is seeking a Mobile App Developer who does not hesitate to venture into the unknown, by staying up-to-date with the dynamic technological trends. As a solution-oriented thinker, the ideal candidate will adhere to the highest-quality standards to create the best design interfaces. With improved user experience as a benchmark, the prospective mobile app developer must thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Objectives of this role:

1. Translate the company vision to take the form of a mobile application, through clean coding.


2. Design the next-gen models of apps with high-quality mobile and application development.


3. Manage the entire evolution process of the app, from ideation to execution and improvisation.


4. Collaborate with other mobile app engineers within the team to deliver the best solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Perform periodic testing and improve the usability of the mobile app.


2. Build the design interface as per the client’s needs.


3. Fix bugs and other performance issues as an iOS and Android mobile developer.


4. Develop new features as a mobile software developer.


5. Collaborate with other junior mobile app developers, back-end and front-end developers, and designers through the lifecycle of the app.


6. Communicate with the users to understand their exact requirements. 

Job Requirements: 

1. BSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.


2. Prior experience working as a mobile application developer, or in a similar job role.


3. A portfolio of all the previous mobile applications created and released.


4. Experience in working with APIs.


5. Comprehensive knowledge of mobile application development. Knowledge of Java, Swift, or other similar programming languages.


6. Ability to work as a team player across various verticals of the business.


7. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task.
