Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Loan Officer located in Lagos.


• The Loan Officer will be responsible for daily tasks including loan origination, underwriting, providing excellent customer service, and managing loans.


• The role requires strong financial acumen and the ability to assess creditworthiness.


• The Loan Officer will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide suitable loan solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prospection and evaluation of Client 


• Verification of prospective client and guarantors house and businesses. 


• Evaluating credit worthiness by processing loan applications and loan document for credit committee. 


• Analyse financial data of clients’ businesses. 


• Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data of client business and household.


• Complete all loan contracts and enlighten clients on banks policies and restrictions. 


• Disbursement target for each month must be achieved. 


• Pre disbursement and Post disbursement follow-up must be ensured to detect early cash diversion from clients. 


• All funds disbursed must be fully recovered. 


• Ensure that Portfolio At Risk (PAR) is always at low as possible.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
