Position Summary:


The Media Communication Associate will be responsible for creating, managing, and distributing content that effectively communicates ThinkMint Nigeria’s brand message and engages our target audience. This role requires a creative and strategic individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of media communication trends and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation and Management:



  • Develop and produce high-quality content for various media platforms, including press releases, articles, blog posts, newsletters, and social media.

  • Ensure all content is consistent with ThinkMint Nigeria’s brand voice, style, and messaging.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.


Media Relations:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and journalists.

  • Write and distribute press releases and media kits to generate coverage and enhance the company’s visibility.

  • Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interview requests.


Social Media Management:



  • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.

  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to drive engagement and brand awareness.

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content and strategies.


Internal Communication:



  • Develop and distribute internal communication materials, including newsletters, memos, and announcements.

  • Ensure consistent and effective communication within the organization to keep employees informed and engaged.


Event Planning and Coordination:



  • Assist in planning and coordinating company events, webinars, and press conferences.

  • Develop and distribute promotional materials and manage event logistics.


Market Research and Analysis:



  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve communication strategies and enhance the company’s market position.


Brand Management:



  • Ensure all communication materials adhere to ThinkMint Nigeria’s brand guidelines.

  • Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation and address any issues or concerns promptly.


Qualifications:



  • Degree from a recognized and reputable institution.

  • Proven experience as a Media Communication Associate, Public Relations Specialist, or similar role.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of media communication and public relations principles.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management tools.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
