Provide strategic financial leadership and direction, partnering with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Management Team to achieve the Group's strategic objectives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the Group's long-term goals, ensuring financial sustainability and maximizing return on investment.
Oversee all aspects of the financial operations for the Group and its subsidiaries, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk management.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, financial advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Lead the finance team in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for optimizing the Group's capital structure and cost of capital.
Develop and oversee a robust financial control framework to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Foster a high-performing finance team with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a GCFO in a large, multi-subsidiary organization.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Strong understanding of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements for public companies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation; an MBA is a plus.
