We need an NYSC corps member with Project Management or engineering qualifications, who needs a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
The Intern will support the Project Management team in planning, executing, and closing projects.
You will gain hands-on experience in managing telecommunications projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Description
Assist in the developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Assist in task allocation to FSEs and Contractors.
Assist in preparing and vetting payment requisition for FSEs/Contractor.
Support in the identification and management of project risks and issues.
Assist in preparing work order (PFI) request from clients.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Assist with project closeout activities and reporting.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.
Help prepare project reports, BOM/BOQ, presentations, and documentation.
Assist in managing relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Project Management department.
Requirements
Degree in Project Management, Engineering, architecture or a related field.
0 – 1 year work experience.
Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
Interest in the telecommunications industry and willingness to learn.
