Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.


• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.


• Administer and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, including Windows and Linux environments.


• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.


• Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.


• Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and service records.


• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Strong knowledge of network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.


• Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux operating systems.


• Experience with network security practices and protocol.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator


• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).


• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
