We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving business growth.
This role requires a strong understanding of the agrochemical / agricultural industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field, with a minimum grade of Second Class honours, Upper Division.
A master’s degree will be an advantage.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the agrochemical, agricultural or the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries and at the senior management level.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Willingness to travel widely and live in any part of Nigeria and as required.
