Job Summary 



  • The Executive Export/Import will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the import and export activities of our organization.

  • This role requires a thorough understanding of international trade regulations, and customs procedures, and strong negotiation skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in export and import operations with at least two years of relevant experience.


Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure that the export proceeds form (NXP) is open after proforma clearance.

  • Booking and checking with shipping line for container allocation, seaway bills, or telex release customs operations and documents

  • Securing vessel space and coordinating with forwarder and plant to ensure containers are delivered to the plant the following schedule

  • Typing of COO / COM / GSP for endorsement with customs and ensuring export documents are obtained and dispatched mail within 3 days after departure of the vessel to enable customers to receive documents upon prior to vessel arrival at POD

  • Proper maintenance of job Excel sheet for better control, follow up with forwarders activities report TRI-WEEKLY basis for preparation of weekly timeframe report, export status and submission of custom documents

  • Amendment in Bill of lading draft, if any

  • Uploading freight & local shipping payments in shipping lines platform,

  • Uploading freight & local shipping payments in shipping lines platform,

  • Well versed with shipping line portal handling

  • Follow up with shipping lines for freight & local invoices after vessel sailing,


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in export/import operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with trade management software.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
