Job Description

• We are looking to hire a dedicated and skilled personal chef to prepare meals according to preferences and dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Conferring with employer to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.


• Preparing customized meal plans for employer based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs.


• Shopping for meal ingredients as well as necessary kitchen tools and equipment.


• Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality.


• Preparing meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations.


• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation.


• Appropriately packaging and labelling prepared meals that are to be consumed at a later date.

Qualifications

• SSCE, OND or BSc.


• Certification in catering


• Good communication skills


• Hygienic and well kempt


• At least 2 years proven experience as a chef/cook


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Good Knowledge of health and safety especially in the kitchen.


• Must stay in Lekki or its environs
