About the Role-
The cook is responsible to prepare food orders accurately and in a timely manner in a high volume paced kitchen and assist with the day to day running of the kitchen.Ensure excellent customer experience and helps ensure the kitchen remains clean ,organized and in compliance with sanitation requirements.
Job description
- Prepare quality and sumptuous meal daily
- Sample finish product to ensure standard taste.
- Ensure quality of any outgoing Product
- Meet the food sanitation and hygiene requirements in the kitchen.
- Specialize in meal section and any product that has to do with rice
- Ensure all the products in meal sections are produced at the right time and in the right quantity.
- Closing stock at the end of every shift
- Ensure a proper handover at the end of every shift.
- Quality check for freshness of food ingredients
- Working well under pressure with time limits
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Working experiences as a cook or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Sound understanding of Various delicacies
- Good communication skills especially Verbal
- Knowledge of food health and safety procedure
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Highly organized individual
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Professional Certificate as a food handler will be an added advantage
