Key Criteria:
- Exposure to International Procurement Standards
- Experience working in a multinational Oil & Gas or Construction Company
- Familiar with both local and international procurement best practices
- An engineering degree or background
Qualification & Experience
- 8 - 10 years of experience in procurement management in an oil and gas EPC company
- Experience with contract management and negotiation
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement modules
- A good bachelor's degree/engineering background will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
- Proficient in procurement software and technology
Role Expectation
- The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan, lead and manage all procurement activities for the organization.
- This position requires STRONG organizational abilities, time management skills, procurement, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Frequent interaction with vendors, suppliers and colleagues – a high degree of integrity, confidentiality and discretion is required.
