The Site Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of logistics operations at a designated site. This includes overseeing receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution activities.
The Site Manager ensures operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team and maintain high levels of productivity and service quality.
Job Responsibilities
Identifying areas of opportunities to the SRM in opening new business sites.
Perform feasibility studies on areas of new opportunities.
Identify and collect feedback from senior site supervisors and site supervisors on problem-solving processes.
Collate performance reports from senior site supervisors.
Relate with the regional manager on an advisory basis.
Creating and maintaining performance benchmark on a daily basis from daily activities.
Measure site performance level as collated from KPI and advise region leaders accordingly.
Skills and Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
