The Telemarketer will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products or services.
This role involves generating sales leads, providing information about product features and addressing customer inquiries.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude and the ability to handle rejection gracefully.
Responsibilities
Make a high volume of outbound calls to potential customers.
Follow provided scripts to provide information about products and services, take orders and solicit sales.
Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interest of specific individuals.
Identify potential customers through cold calling, lead follow-up and existing customer base.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
Record customer details, interaction, and sales in the CRM system.
Schedule follow-up calls with prospective customers who have shown interest but have not yet purchased work closely with the sales & marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/ customer service role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle rejections and remain motivated.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to work independently and a part of a team.
