Job Description



  • The Telemarketer will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products or services.

  • This role involves generating sales leads, providing information about product features and addressing customer inquiries.

  • The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude and the ability to handle rejection gracefully.


Responsibilities



  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to potential customers.

  • Follow provided scripts to provide information about products and services, take orders and solicit sales.

  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interest of specific individuals.

  • Identify potential customers through cold calling, lead follow-up and existing customer base.

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.

  • Record customer details, interaction, and sales in the CRM system.

  • Schedule follow-up calls with prospective customers who have shown interest but have not yet purchased work closely with the sales & marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/ customer service role.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to handle rejections and remain motivated.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Ability to work independently and a part of a team.
