Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team as a Store Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store count processes, performing reconciliations, and proficiently using QuickBooks for financial management. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct regular store count audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.

  • Perform reconciliations of store-level financial transactions, including bank statements, cash receipts, and invoices.

  • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records for multiple store locations.

  • Generate financial reports and analyze discrepancies or variances in store financial data.

  • Collaborate with store managers and regional teams to address accounting-related inquiries and provide guidance on financial procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and taxation laws.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for store operations.

  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA certification preferred.

  • Proven experience ( 2 years) as an accountant, with specific experience in store accounting, reconciliations, and using QuickBooks.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) and QuickBooks software.

  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
