Job Summary
- We are looking for enthusiastic and results-driven Field Sales Representatives/Managers to join our team.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling animal feed products, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within their designated territories.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural sector, excellent sales skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets for animal feeds.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, livestock producers, feed distributors, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide clients with detailed information about products, including benefits, usage instructions, and pricing.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Provide product training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or animal feed industry.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Experience in selling animal feed products is highly desirable.
- Prefered experience from:New Hope,Olam, Top Feed/Premier Feed Mill, Karma Feeds.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and animal nutrition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
