Job Purpose
- General Purpose of Role Prepare project cost reports assuming responsibility for their overall accuracy, completeness and timeliness
- Coordinating the cost analysis activities on one or more projects
- Liaising with project management on matters relating to cost control
- Making periodic site visits to review cost reporting; preparing comprehensive evaluation of cost escalation and contingencies.

Qualifications
Typical Qualifications:
- University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Typically 5+ years relevant experience.
Decision Making:
- Working under minimal supervision, able to plan own work and accomplish varied and complex tasks with the ability to discover issues and recommend solutions.
Supervision Received:
- Works under supervision and self-initiated technical guidance with regular weekly to monthly interaction with supervisor.
- Work is not generally supervised in detail and amount of supervision varies depending upon the assignment.
- Broad duties assigned monthly
- Work is occasionally reviewed for accuracy.
- Usually technical guidance is available to review work programs and advise on unusual features of assignment.
Supervision Authority:
- May assign activities and give technical guidance to a few staff for a common project.
- Communication Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts.
- Continue to develop the ability to influence participation in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports.
Systems & Tools (Essential):
- Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
