Description

To ensure that Rainoil’s products meet the company / industry quality specifications and standards.

Requirements

1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree / HND in any related discipline (Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering etc.)


2. Advanced degree or training is preferred e.g., Certification in Quality or Operations management.


3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the quality assurance department of an organization in the oil & gas industry with preference for petrochemical products and lubricants.

Responsibility

1. Conducts and Ensures correctness of quality tests on products.


2. Vets’ raw materials to ensure they are of the right quality and quantity before being introduced into the supply chain.


3.  Reviews the blending process to ensure the integrity of product formulations.


4. Plans for and implements periodic and routine testing of product samples.


5. Maintains a log of test records on products and identifies the need for quality and standards improvement.


6. Receives feedback and complaints on products quality and ensures that they are addressed.


7. Conducts customer quality satisfaction survey and presents findings and recommendations to the divisional head.


8. Ensures that laboratory equipment and tools are appropriately calibrated and checked to maintain accuracy and reliability.


9. Coordinates the Quality Assurance Process/ Documentation Review Update


10. Determines training needs for staff around quality delivery issues and management.
