Qualifications, Skills And Requirements

• BSc degree in Law


• 2+ years experience in Legal Practice.


• Must reside in Abuja


• Member of ICAN.


• Proven work experience as a Legal Specialist.


• Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office


• Strong knowledge of corporate law


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Time-management and Organizational skills


• Good interpersonal skills


• Ability to pay attention to detail


• Good research skills


• Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on corporate legal issues and business matters.


• Draft a wide variety of legal agreements


• Prepare contracts and agreements


• Conduct legal research


• Analyses and review legal agreements, legislation and documents


• Review and advice management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.


• Ensure internal & external compliance with laid down guidelines, policies and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be required.


• Ensure compliance with a statutory requirements


• Performing legal related duties as assigned
