- Overseeing the maintenance and planning activities of our organization which includes development and implementation of maintenance strategies, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance teams, including technicians and contractors.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures.
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and engineering, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement predictive maintenance technologies, such as condition monitoring and predictive analytics.
- Develop and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HND / B.S.c / B.Eng. Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies and plans.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, such as reliability-centred maintenance and total productive maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising maintenance teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software, such as ERP, Dynamics 365, SAP, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
