We are looking to hire an experienced accountant to create and maintain the financial data and records in an aluminum extrusion factory.

Accountant Responsibilities and Duties

• Create and maintain financial records.


• Ensure all records, book-keeping systems and accounts are exact.


• Establish systems to track and reconcile daily transactions and financial reports including balances, payments, and statements.


• Work with management to actively monitor and understand budget variances.


• Ensure internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance with local laws.


• Maintain thorough internal audit trail


• Coordinate with external audit to ensure that audits are completed on time and according to standards set by Nigeria regulatory agencies.


• Handle continuous financial administration.


• Compile and present quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Accountant Job Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting or other related fields.


• At least 10 years experience as a accountant.


• Ability to lead and manage a team.


• In-depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite.


• In-depth knowledge of accounting software such as Quick-books.


• Organizational skills.


• Knowledge of accounting principles.


• Highly observant and analytical.


• Ability to work with confidential information.


• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
