Job Description



Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, manage and hold accountable (LMA) the company Partnerships team including all third party companies hired under the scope of the Partnerships unit.



  • Business Development

  • Local pipeline management and analysis in each stage of the sales process (prospecting, development, contract negotiations, delivery).

  • Local market research and analysis, including research of potential partners in key sectors and markets of focus and around key conferences and networking opportunities.

  • Develop proposals, presentations and sales materials to profile the company, its programs and its participants for potential partners.

  • Accounts and Client Relationship Management

  • Coordinating delivery of regular reports of key partnership projects.


Marketing:



  • Establish and implement marketing strategies for the organization

  • Generate awareness and public interest in the company’s Offerings and programs

  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for the company’s programs and services on a variety of media platforms (social, print, etc.)

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.


Sales:



  • Build a pipeline of selected local partnerships to leverage access to capital, business support and piloting and implementation opportunities for the company and program participants.

  • Development of presentations and sales materials to profile the company, Its programs and its participants.

  • Closing deals for the firm.


Outreach campaigns:



  • Providing support and participating in regular touch-points with Impact Hub Lagos’ programs participants to support their partnerships and investment readiness.

  • Collaboration with Impact Hub Association’s Global Partnerships Lead and Impact Hubs globally, including regular meetings with other local and global partnership managers.


Candidate Profile



  • B.Sc or Masters in Business administration / marketing or similar field.

  • Proven experience in business development, fundraising, sales, and account management.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain lasting business relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Engaged in topics related to social impact, social entrepreneurship, and innovation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and creatively.

  • Skilled in capturing and articulating thoughts succinctly, tailoring proposals, and delivering persuasive pitches.

  • Capable of understanding strategic business value while paying attention to details in proposals and presentations.

  • Eye for detail and a clean design aesthetic; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical abilities for working with both numeric and textual information.

  • Comfortable engaging with key stakeholders and working collaboratively in multidisciplinary and distributed teams.

  • Open-minded, self-reliant, and able to adapt quickly to new people and situations.

  • Demonstrates entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation, and exceptional execution ability.

  • A dynamic thinker with the ability to switch between macro and micro perspectives, and adapt to a diverse, fast-paced environment.
