  • Manage all accounting transactions

  • Prepare budget forecasts

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Ensure timely bank payments

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

  • Audit financial transactions and documents

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

  • Completing analysis of the employee expenditures

  • Managing income and expenditure accounts

  • Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data

  • Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

  • Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company

  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.

  • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.

  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.

  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.

  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns

  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements

  • Providing tax planning services based on current legislation


Qualifications



  • 3-years experience 

  • Must be ICAN Certified


Additional Information:



  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willingness to visit farm locations to register farmers

  • Computer literacy to be able to work on smart phone-based data collection applications.

  • Good communication skills

  • Innovative, motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to speak local language would be an added advantage

  • Must be willing to work with personal smart phone for the data collection exercise

  • Must be residing within Oredo, Ikpoba-Okha or Egor.
