- The Corporate Sales Associate is responsible for driving business growth by building relationships with key industry players, identifying growth opportunities; building and enhancing key customer relationships, and negotiating and closing business deals with anchors, vendors and other key stakeholders whilst delivering the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for delivering against our commercial targets by signing up key anchors and driving repeat volumes of invoice trading on the company’s platform.
- Seek new invoice financing opportunities and cultivate existing relationships to expand the business and grow revenues.
- Research and onboard anchors and vendors that can benefit from the company’s invoice financing solutions.
- Ensure delivered growth is sustained and vendors continue to trade invoices of the platform
- Identify and understand client needs, proactively providing the right solutions that meet their pain points
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite level executives at prospective client organizations
- Drive account planning in strategic accounts with a clear understanding of the key decision makers and the approval process
- Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to ensure conversion of qualified leads
- Identify potential partners, anchors and vendors and propose solutions, services and opportunities aimed at increasing the company’s bottom-line
- Create proposals and present solutions to prospective partners, anchors and vendors
- Follow up on client leads and close deals coordinating requirements, negotiating contract terms, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Screen potential anchors by analysing markets, financials requirements, and resolving internal priorities
- Work with cross-functional teams; product design, risk, operations and marketing to provide client feedback and ensure continuous improvement of our products and financing solutions.
- Identify new sources of prospects - prepare action plans and schedules for expansion into other industries and/or regions.
- Remain knowledgeable about products and solutions developed by the company
- Maintain continuous lines of communication with the Head of Sales, keeping them informed of business development activities and sending periodic progress reports
