Job Summary

• The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of electrical components within our facilities.

Job Description

• Install and program electrical equipment


• Repair and carry out preventive maintenance on the electrical components of industrial equipments


• Measure, cut and install wiring and conduit systems


• Troubleshoot and fix electrical problems


• Follow safety procedures in the execution of job functions


• Carry out frequent quality assurance checks and implement safety measures


• Keep detailed records on status of machines and advise on replacement, if necessary.

Education

• A Degree obtained from an accredited higher institution in a related field.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Requirements:

• Ability to understand schematics and other technical documents


• Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks


• Mechanical skills


• Previous experience in an industrial environment strongly preferred.
