Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments.


• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.


• Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the dental surgery.


• Comfort and reassure patients before, during, and after dental procedures.


• Manage patient records and appointments accurately.


• Provide oral health education and advice to patients.


• Process and sterilize dental instruments.


• Perform infection control procedures in compliance with regulations.


• Assist with dental X-rays and laboratory work.


• Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certified Dental Surgeon assistant/technician qualification.


• Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred.


• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.


• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency in computer skills for record-keeping.


• Understanding of infection control protocols and health regulations.
