Job Summary
- The Business Analyst (Business Plan Writer) will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive business plans.
- This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create detailed business documentation, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- A key focus will be on writing business plans for organizational setup documents specifically for NGOs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Develop process models, use cases, and other business analysis documentation.
Business Planning:
- Develop detailed and well-structured business plans that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support business planning efforts.
- Provide financial projections, risk assessments, and feasibility studies as part of the business planning process.
- Write business plans for organizational setup documents specifically for NGOs.
Project Management:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business plans.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics and milestones.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings.
- Communicate complex concepts and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive business documentation, including business plans, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in writing detailed and effective business plans, particularly for organizational setup documents for NGOs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience with project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
