RESPONSIBLE TO: ABM PASTRY/PRODUCTION CORDINATOR


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES


Responsible for preparing and baking high-quality bread, pastries and other baked goods for our restaurant.


MAIN FUNCTIONS:



  • Prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.

  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of baked goods.

  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.

  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients.

  • Clean and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and utensils.

  • Report any equipment issues to the BM/Supervisor

  • Conduct quality control checks on baked goods to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.

  • Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and safe baking environment.

  • Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Any other task as assigned by supervisor


PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



  • Diploma/Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field.

  •  2-3 years of experience in baking, preferably in a fast restaurant environment.

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

  •  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  •  Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  •  Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must know how to read and write
