RESPONSIBLE TO: ABM PASTRY/PRODUCTION CORDINATOR
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for preparing and baking high-quality bread, pastries and other baked goods for our restaurant.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients.
- Clean and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
- Report any equipment issues to the BM/Supervisor
- Conduct quality control checks on baked goods to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe baking environment.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
- Any other task as assigned by supervisor
PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Diploma/Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in baking, preferably in a fast restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- Must know how to read and write
