Job Summary :



  • The Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical services department, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of technical support and services to internal and external clients.

  • This role involves managing a team of technical professionals, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategies to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:



  • Team Management; Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical support engineers and specialists.

  • Service Operation; Oversee the daily operations of the technical department, such as scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.

  • Ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped to handle technical issues and projects.

  • Service Delivery; Oversee the provision of technical services to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

  • Create regular reports on service department performance, including critical indicators like response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Project Management; Plan, coordinate, and manage technical projects from inception to completion.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.

  • Client Relations; Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and ensure they are resolved satisfactorily.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Technical Expertise; Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancement, evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve service delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team and clients.

  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations


Qualification:



  • Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in an Engineering, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of electrical analysis and electronics

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, install and serviceluxury electronic appliances

  • Knowledge of practical application of engineering scienceand technology

  • Knowledge of theoretical electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of automation

  • Computer proficiency

  • A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a Technical Services Managerial role.
